Hand and a Half Sword

This Hand and a Half Sword was made in approximately 1510 in Germany by an unknown maker. I came across this sword on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and it was the twisting pommel that caught my eye and inspired me to re-create it in 3D. The materials were mostly figured out in Substance Painter, but I used designer to make some custom leather materials. The simpler shape of the weapon allowed me to focus on just a handful of materials and get them looking good. It was a really fun project, and I think I'm going to make some more swords and weapons soon.
Thanks to all who gave me feedback, love ya all, also a big thanks to Rick Greeve who helped with some great tips throughout on Marmoset, presentation and texturing.
I've put the source files up for sale on my store if anyone's interested in checking them out or using them to study!
